At Vivaldi in Edinburgh and The Apple Tree in Dundee, we carry a wide range of women's fashion accessories, including handbags (Radley, Tula, Susie Smith and more), jewellery and scarves, together with an extensive collection of shoes (including ladies GEOX).

This season there are a number of key trends with something to suit everyone. So what will you find in Vivaldi to help you update your look?

Lets start with styles - "The 1940s" with its cinched-in waists, wool skirt suits and tweeds can be complemented by adding a pair of tweed platform courts. "Animal Instincts" can easily be achieved by adding a leopard print bag or tiger striped scarf. For the "Girls will be Boys" look add a slouch shoulder bag to your boyfriend's cardi or a statement necklace to your tailored jacket. And for those of you brave enough to return to "the 1980s", with its exaggerated shoulders, add a sequinned evening bag and sparkly swarovski crystal earrings.

As for colour: grey is the new black (but there is a lot of black too!) so to help brighten this we see strong contrasts with regal purple, vibrant reds and teal. What better way to add a touch of brightness than with a teal shoulder bag, or purple ballet pump or red statement necklace.
